Work from Home with Zoom Rooms Integration

Savant has introduced an integration with Zoom’s audio/video conferencing platform, Zoom Rooms, as part of its smart living ecosystem. Users now have access to a more productive video conferencing environment with meeting personalizations options.

With Savant’s Zoom Rooms integration, a Savant Scene and applicable audio/video services can automatically launch each time a meeting is started. Capabilities include dimming or brightening lights based on the time of day; adjusting shades; and pausing background audio. Once the conference has concluded, Savant will return the room to its prior state, automatically restarting music/programming that had been paused for the meeting.

In addition to Savant Scene integration, Savant’s Zoom Rooms integration delivers high-quality video and audio experience with Partners such as Logitech, Huddly and Beyerdynamic.

“This month, we have added the ability to showcase the Savant and Zoom Rooms integration inside Savant’s Virtual Experience Center, which can showcase both a home office environment as well as a larger, commercially scaled deployment,” explained Ian Roberts, director of Savant’s Education & Customer Experience. “One useful feature we included in the office setting is the full-color, DMX light strip we installed behind the home office display that we set to automatically glow red as a visual reminder whenever the Zoom Rooms user has audio set to mute. Innovative ideas like this will enhance the conferencing experience.”

De nieuwe software-update voor de Mac brengt namelijk volledige HomeKit-ondersteuning naar je iMac, MacBook, Mac mini of Mac Pro. De Mac krijgt een eigen variant van de Woning-app en Siri helpt je ook in macOS Mojave bij alle woningwensen.

De Woning-app op de Mac werkt met alle apparaten die HomeKit ondersteunen. Het is de volledige app en niet een afgeslankte versie. Of je nu slimme lampen, een AirPlay 2-speaker of sensor in huis hebt, je kunt het vanaf je Mac bedienen.
